Carnosic acid is a diterpene compound found in the dried leaves of oregano, rosemary and common sage.
It is in the form of a yellow powder and is an effective antioxidant that protects the skin from environmental pollutants which causes oxidative stress and provides protection against UV-A radiation. Also carnosic acid has antibacterial properties, especially suitable for cracked,inflamed or acne-prone skin.
Application of carnosic acid:
1.As a preservative or antioxidant in food and non-food products (e.g. toothpaste, mouthwash, chewing gum or skin care products, etc.);
2.Antibacterial Ingredients in Teeth Grinders and Mouthwashes;
3.Pet food;
4.It has a certain therapeutic effect on diabetes, and also has the effect of strengthening the stomach.
